The program detailed the current industry standards, with a focus on practical situations and how to approach uncomfortable issues. My name is Rajinder Kaur and I am from India. I have always wanted an opportunity to visit Canada as I have heard a lot about the country. After 15 years of teaching in Zimbabwe, I was looking for opportunities outside the country thinking of my son’s future.  I met Cecilia back in 2014 when she started attending my dance classes. From the start she brought a great smile and energy to the room, and you could tell she loved to dance – and she still does almost 10 years later! I then required her services as a lawyer in 2023 when an issue relating to cultural appropriation was brought to my attention in my workplace. She is leading the way on having those difficult conversations, but making them accessible for all. I have now read her book and feel much better equipped to lead my business, my team and also my family in this changing world.
