Hey, I’m Chelsea. I’m newer to Grande Prairie and the young gun of the team. When you find me at the office, I will great you with a smile while buried deep into my work. I’m currently working on my immigration assistant to further my career in immigration law. I find enjoyment outside of work with my family, soaking up the sun on a trail somewhere. When adventure calls, we’re there.
Nkemjika Anya
Legal Assistant
Nkemjika Anya obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree in 2014. She proceeded to the Nigerian
Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2015.
Shortly after her call to the Nigerian Bar, she worked in a Law Firm – Chief Ladi Rotimi William
Chambers as a Legal Counsel for two years where she had her litigation experience in family
Law, Property Law, Contract disputes mediation and criminal law. Thereafter she worked in an
Insurance Firm as a Legal Officer/Assistant Company Secretary for about six years where she
had her corporate experience like drafting and reviewing of legal policies and agreements,
issuing legal advice and opinion. During the period of her career, she has attained the following
qualifications: ACIArb (Associate, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK), ACIS (Associate,
Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria) and has attended various
trainings on Leadership, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Project Management,
Personal Finance Essentials (McGill) and Negotiation.
She moved to Canada in February 2024 and has been assessed by the National Committee on
Accreditation (NCA) and is in the process of taking the Bar examinations in order to practice
Law in Canada.
