Cecilia Ntombizodwa Mzvondiwa, LLB, MA
Managing Partner
Cecilia Mzvondiwa is the Founder and Managing Partner of Onpoint Law, a boutique
law firm based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, that focuses on Immigration and Family
Law, with additional services in leadership development, diversity and inclusion,
and workplace human rights. A seasoned legal professional with a global perspective,
Cecilia combines over a decade of legal expertise with an unwavering commitment to
social justice and community empowerment.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Cecilia is a Canadian lawyer and human rights advocate
whose career is defined by credibility, compassion, and results. She has successfully
represented hundreds of clients in matters ranging from refugee protection and spousal
sponsorships to complex parenting and property disputes. Her approach is client-
centered, solutions-focused, and grounded in fairness, making her a trusted ally to
individuals and families navigating life’s most critical transitions. She Published a book
on navigating divorce entitled “Unravelled, 10 Mistakes most people make when going
through Divorce and Separation” A book that promotes the well-being of children and
save lives.
Cecilia’s academic background includes an LLB, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy
and Religion, and a master’s in human security and Peacebuilding. She brings this
interdisciplinary lens to every case, helping clients understand their rights and make
empowered legal decisions. An executive coach and HR professional.
Beyond her legal practice, Cecilia is a nationally recognized thought leader in diversity,
equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). Through her firm and her leadership
consultancy, Global People First, she works with government agencies, non-profits,
and corporations to foster inclusive cultures and advance social equity. She has trained
and mentored over 3,000 leaders across Canada, and her bestselling book, Beyond
Tokenism, is widely praised for reshaping how organizations approach inclusive
leadership.
Cecilia is deeply involved in community service. She has served on multiple boards,
including the Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership, Northwestern Alberta
Foundation, BPW Edmonton, and Alberta Health Services Anti-Racism Advisory
Committee. She is also the co-founder of Raising Phoenixes, an initiative supporting
immigrant women through legal education, mentorship, and entrepreneurship.
Her credibility as a legal professional, dependability as a leader, and unwavering
commitment to justice have made her a respected voice in Alberta’s legal and civic

Lesley Coffman
Legal Assistant
Lesley Coffman brings a unique combination of education, advocacy, and hands-on community experience to our firm. She holds a degree in Social Services and a degree in Business Accounting, equipping her with both compassionate client-focused insight and strong analytical skills.
Lesley is a long-standing advocate for LGBTQ2S+ rights and is the founder of Youth Against Violence, reflecting her deep commitment to creating safer, more inclusive communities. Her professional background includes working with the Grande Prairie Public School Division as an Educational Assistant supporting high-risk and high-needs children, where she developed extensive experience working with vulnerable youth and families.
In addition, Lesley has provided supervision for court-ordered child visitation, ensuring safe and supportive environments for families navigating complex legal matters. She is also a dedicated advocate against domestic violence and abuse, particularly violence against women, and has consistently championed women’s rights throughout her career.
Lesley’s work is grounded in empathy, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to protecting and empowering those who need it most.
Eunice Alalade
Student at Law
Eunice Alalade is a globally trained legal professional with extensive experience in Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), financial crime compliance, and personal injury matters across the United Kingdom and Nigeria. With a strong foundation in both regulatory compliance and legal practice, Eunice approaches every matter with meticulous attention to detail, a risk‑focused mindset, and a commitment to client‑centred service.
A Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and holder of a Master’s degree in Fraud and Financial Crime, Eunice has built a career defined by analytical precision, regulatory insight, and a dedication to safeguarding the integrity of financial and legal systems.
Before joining OnPoint Law, Eunice worked with major UK institutions, conducting complex AML reviews, investigating high‑risk clients and transactions, and contributing to the enhancement of compliance frameworks.
Alongside her compliance expertise, Eunice has a solid litigation background. She has served as a paralegal and legal advisor at leading UK law firms, managing industrial disease claims, and previously practised as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria.
Eunice completed the NCA Exams and is currently a student at law in Canada, bringing a rich international perspective and a diverse skill set to the OnPoint Law team. She will specialize in immigration law and real-estate.
